Mussolini iphone app beats records

A 25 year old man from Naples, Luigi Marino, has hit record downloads of his iphone application which allows the user to read and listen to Mussolini’s speeches. The iMussolini app costs 79 eurocents and has registered around 1,000 downloads per day shortly after being made available. The app inventor denies any illegal activity stating that materials used can easily be found in similar hard copy magazines and CDs available at newsagents. Apple has stated that it has no intentions to remove the app from its download store.
Mr Marino has also declared that there is no political motivation behind his software and that his next app will be based on the speeches of Ghandi.

iphone is regularly available in Italy from either Tim or Vodaphone mobile providers at prices from around €30 / month
